Miles is a specialist in employment and discrimination law. He also practises in commercial, equity and real property. He regularly appears in Federal Courts, the Supreme Court of NSW and State and Federal Tribunals.
Miles takes a broad view of the interests of litigants and is always pragmatic. This has led to an approach which considers both legal and non-legal interests, from the commercial to the strategic and the personal.
Miles has appeared for major Australian corporates, State and Federal government departments, regulators, trade unions and individuals.
Prior to the bar, Miles was a solicitor at Gilbert + Tobin and Minter Ellison where he practised in employment and administrative law.
